Clayspray White Clay Pore Refining Mask

Clayspray are a new face mask company on the scene. All of the masks use pure clay, emulsified with water and come in a patented delivery system.

I was really excited to attend their launch event a few weeks ago. I love a good face mask and these sounded really interesting.

Clayspray use the highest quality grade clay in the world that is enriched with potent minerals and mixed with natural mineral water. The range consists of 6 masks, all of which target different results - e.g. pore refininng, brightening, hydrating etc. There are 5 masks for the face, and one for the scalp (more on this in a follow up post!). There are also 2 mineral water sprays in the range that are designed to help prepare the skin and remove the masks after use.

I was given a sample of the Pore Refining White Clay mask and the Hydrate H20 water spray at the event to try out at home.

The mask comes in a pump style bottle, with the clay sealed tight in an airless environment. This ensures it can't dry out or spoil before you're ready to use it. Before applying the clay, I spritzed the H2O water spray across my face to dampen the skin and the applied a thin layer of clay to my face.

10 minutes later, I was having fun trying to see how much I could move my face witout cracking the mask (childish I know), and before I knew it, it was time to remove it. They recommend that you use the H20 spray to remove the mask as this helps retain the natural mineral benefits from the clay mask. I used the spray as directed with a flannel to remove.

My face was left feeling really glowing, and my pores definitely looked a lot smaller. I'm really pleased with the mask - it's definitely a luxury product at £45.50 a bottle, but given that it gives you 17 applications, not too expensive worked out cost per use. You can purchase the mask directly from their website.

The H20 spray was lovely, but I have to be honest, I don't think I would repurchase it, purely for the fact that other, cheaper versions of mineral water sprays are out there.

Do you like the sound of Clayspray?

*This post contains PR samples. My views are honest as always.

  4. These look and sound very interesting. A little disappointing they're not "sprayed" all over the face .......although admittedly it would be VERY messy LOL

  5. This sounds lovely. A little too expensive for me though, especially since there are a lot of great clay masks for cheaper.
