Smooch eyeshadow duo Suede

Love Nars but hate the price? Well I think I might have the perfect dupe for you from Smooch cosmetics!

Smooch were launched back in 2011 by a founder who wanted to create a makeup line that felt luxurious, but were still reasonably priced enough for you to use them every day.

The Suede eyeshadow duo* is part of their collection, and for me, is the perfect combination for a bronzed smokey eye.

The shadows are pigmented and last for ages - I wore mine all day and it still looked great after 8 hours with no primer. They blend really well, and despite a little bit of fallout during application, stay firmly in place once applied.

The packaging is similar to Nars, and is black, matte and a sort of rubberised plastic. It does mean that it gets dirty quite quickly, but I guess we can't have it all!

The best part about Smooch is the price. This duo retails at £9.50, which I think is great value for money given the quality of the shadows themselves. As well as Suede, there are also 10 others in the original collection, plus another set of 6 new shadow duos that form the 'Ladies who Lunch' collection.

Ladies Who Lunch is based around a group of 6 characters, each shadow duo complementary to their personalities. I think my favourite of them is Social Butterfly, a really pretty combination of purples that would be great for an evening look.

Smooch can be bought online via their website, and at the moment have a free mascara offer if you spend over £10 (bargain!).

Have you tried anything from Smooch before?
