Let's keep it clean

If you've followed my blog for a while, you'll have seen I have a rather passionate relationship with cake, and in turn a love/hate one with my body. I know I'm doing bad things to it, but can't quite seem to break the habit.

After speaking with some lovely people on Twitter earlier today, I've decided to tackle this head on. I'm going to start a clean eating programme - no junk, no fads, just real food. This may mean you start seeing a few blog posts about what I'm eating, or more instagram photos of food (hopefully less of cake!).

Yes, I'm doing it to lose a bit of weight, but the main focus for me is to get back to being healthy. My body feels tired and sluggish all the time, which I know is pretty much down to what I'm eating.

If like me you struggle with this kind of thing but want to get involved, leave me a comment with your Twitter handle and we can all help to motivate each other. I think knowing there are people you can talk to really helps - especially when you are having a dark moment and want to reach for the Snickers.

Also, if you know of any great blogs or sites with good clean eating tips and recipes, hit me up! The more the merrier.

Wish me luck and do get involved if you'd like to!

  2. Good luck, I've tried tons of diets and the only thing that worked for me was eating healthy, I lost almost a stone doing it and then walking an hour or so a day. It's much easier then it seems! Good luck! :)

  4. Good luck! I made a conscience decision yesterday to start eating healthy again. It's going to be hard as my house is full of snacks!

I think the thing is not to call it a diet. Like what you have said, it's clean eating. A change of eating habits, rather than diet.
I currently have a morrisons new York style cheesecake problem.. However, I'm hoping the other eating well I do and the 3 spinning classes a week will help keep the fat at bay! haha
