Color Club are a US nail polish company that have teamed up with Birchbox UK to release an exclusive set of polishes for the summer - the Wanderlust collection.
Inspired by four of their offices in some of the world's classic cities, Wanderlust contains 4 mini polishes in 'neon pastel' shades.
London Calling - mint green
Reign In Spain - bright coral
Pardon My French - soft lavender
Mod In Manhattan - off white
The concept of neon pastels is a bit of a funny one, but these really deliver. The shades are definitely pastel, but still very vibrant and Reign In Spain especially almost seems to have a luminous quality to it. Out of the four, Reign In Spain and London Calling are my favourites, but I will be wearing all of these shades again throughout the summer.
The formula is pretty good - London Calling and Pardon My French apply very smoothly and are opaque in 2 coats, whereas Reign In Spain really needed 3 for a totally even finish. Wear time is also good, lasting up to 4 days before any chips appeared. I even went bowling wearing Reign In Spain and my nails were completely intact afterwards which is almost unheard of!
The set costs £10 which for 4 polishes is pretty good value. Color Club call these minis, but at 7ml each, they are more than big enough to do several sets of applications.
The Wanderlust collection is available directly through the Birchbox website. If you're a subscriber, you should also have received 2 of the polishes in June's box.
