Fashion: simple kimono styles

Kimonos seem to have been super popular for the past few seasons - their easy to wear shape makes them a great cover up option for every occasion.

I've bought several over the past couple of months but my current favourite has to be this fringed number from New Look. Not only does the fringing make it the perfect festival accessory, the monochrome prints makes its simple to pair with pretty much anything in in your wardrobe.

I've been swishing around in mine pretending to be Stevie Nicks a LOT over the past few weeks and wanted to share a few of my favourite outfits with you.

Jeans, a bright t-shirt and a statement necklace is definitely my go to wardrobe for those summer days when it's not feeling quite warm enough to get your legs out. I've paired it with some hot pink jelly shoes and simple plaited pigtails for a laid back look.

My other favourite way to wear this kimono is as a jacket over a denim sun dress, with simple gold jewellery and some tan sandals.  It's perfect for warmer days but when you still want a bit of a cover up.
