Superdrug 50th birthday special edition products

High street favourite Superdrug are turning 50 this year and to celebrate their half century, they're launching a set of special edition products from a wide range of brands. I've shopped at Superdrug stores for as long as I can remember, and love the range of beauty brands they have. Some have been stocked since the 60s and others are new additions to the line up, but they're definitely one of my favourite places to shop on the high street.

GOSH limited edition nail polish for superdrug

Launching in April are special edition versions of star products from St. Tropez, Astral, GOSH, Sleek, Olay, Superdrug, Bourjois, Rimmel and more. They've all been given the Superdrug 'pink' treatment and will be launching into stores and online on 9th April.

One of the star buys for me have to be the limited edition GOSH polishes. Coming in a semi-matte glitter finish, this mint green is the perfect spring shade and at £4.99 is a bit of a bargain.

The Sleek Showstoppers palette (full review coming soon) is my top pick to be a guaranteed sell out! Featuring a mix of 12 matte, shimmer and glitter eye shadows, it features a mix of pastels, nudes and deeper shades. I think that Sleek palettes are such good value at £7.99, and this one has a great mix of colours that will see you through from daytime to night. I'd have loved it if this came in a special pink case but it's the standard black, however it is limited edition, so if you like the look of it, get your order in quick!

Reminiscing back to Superdrug's launch in 1964 St. Tropez have added a psychedelic pattern to the outside of their bronzing mousse, and the Superdrug Glam Lashes definitely have a retro feel to them. You'll also be able to get a free 'Superdrug Pink' Rimmel nail polish from 9th April when you buy two other Rimmel products - a good excuse for a little haul!

All that remains to be said is a big Happy Birthday to Superdrug!

Which is your favourite item from the limited edition products?

  1. I love Superdrug's range of products, but I find most of the stores I go into have terrible customer service. Not sure I'm eager to support their birthday if it means going in to rude people who seem to forget that people spending money there are the only reasons they have jobs.
