Aldi Lacura concealer: £3.59 Touche Eclat dupe?

I love YSL's Touche Eclat, however I don't love the price and the fact that there's only 2.5ml of product inside.

A random trip to Aldi last week saw me eagerly checking out their Lacura beauty range. There have been lots of positive reviews so I wanted to try it out for myself.

The concealer pen comes three shades that I could see, one that mimics the original Touche Eclat ('cashmere' which is what I picked up) and two other slightly darker colours.

The packaging looks a lot more expensive than it is. It comes in a metallic silver pen with a brush applicator. There is a push button at the top that dispenses the product.

The formula is liquid and quite thin, but goes on smoothly and blends out easily. The lighter shade looks very natural on my pale skin and does a good job at hiding my dark circles.

It's not a heavy duty concealer so probably wouldn't be suitable for anything other than under the eyes and will only offer a light coverage. I found that this lasts about 5-6 hours without needing a touch up.

I think this product is fantastic. It only costs £3.59 for 2.8ml and for the quality of the product, I think this is such a bargain.

Have you tried anything from the Lacura range?

  7. I've used the Lacura foundations and they're brilliant! Full coverage, quite thick but lasts forever, also a great colour as I'm a pale face, too! I've not used them for about 3 years, but since an Aldi is opening fairly close to me, I'll have to try them out again!
