Ruby Wing colour changing polish

As part of my Pro Beauty haul, I picked up a Ruby Wing colour changing polish. These are made by the people behind Color Club, and were something completely new to me.

The polishes are designed to be one colour inside and then react with the sun to change to a second colour.
I picked up a pretty eggshell blue colour, that on the label showed it turning to a mid-purple shade. I was a little bit apprehensive that it wouldn't work, but it seemed to good not to try!

The polish went on opaque in two coats and dried really quickly. I did find that the second coat felt a bit heavier than this first - perhaps down to the colour changing phenomenon.

I got a chance to test out the colour changing properties over the weekend as the sun finally popped out on Sunday.

To my surprise, it actually worked really well! The transformation only took a couple of minutes and I was left with purple nails! Back inside, the transformation reversed and a few minutes later the blue nails were back.

Inside...

Outside!
I really wish I'd bought more of these polishes! They were on sale at Pro Beauty for £7 each, but unfortunately the only place I can seem to find them in the UK is on Ebay for £12. I'll keep hunting though!

Would you wear a colour-changing polish?
