Burt's Bees Daily Indulgence Collection

Burt’s Bees are a bit of an iconic brand in the lip balm world. Since forming back in the 80s (they originally made beeswax candles), they’ve grown massively over the past 25 years and have expanded their ranges to include all kinds of bath, body, hand and lip products. I’m a bit obsessed with their new tinted lip balms and constantly have one in my handbag for lip related emergencies.

The Daily Indulgence Collection* is the perfect introduction to the brand if you’re not that familiar with them, or if like me, you often just stick to their lip products. Inside the bee printed makeup bag (which I will not be parting with, it’s super cute), you’ll find five of their most popular products in both full and travel sizes.

It contains:

- Full size Hibiscus Tinted Lip
- Full size beeswax lip balm
- 50g shea butter Hand Repair Cream
- 70g Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion
- 50ml Fabulously Fresh Rosemary and Peppermint Body Wash

My favourite from the bag has to be the Hibiscus Tinted Lip Balm, which is a softly tinted, moisturising stick style balm in a soft pink colour. It give your lips a noticeable wash of colour, without being so dark that you’d be worried about applying it without a mirror. The other products are great sizes sticking in your suitcase if you’re off on holiday soon and at £16.99 I think this is a great value discovery set, which would also make a lovely gift.

You can find the Daily Indulgence Collection in larger boots stores, as well as online from Burt’s Bees.

Have you tried anything from Burt’s Bees before?

  1. I've nly ever had the old fashioned balms in a tin from Burt's Bees. What is the pigmentaion like on their tinted ones? Is it very sheer or buildable?

    1. Hi Simone, If you like the regular balm you may like the lip shimmers, they feel pretty similar to the balms (even have the peppermint zing) but the pigmentation is good. I've reviewed 4 of the colours here if it helps - https://lovesandloathes.wordpress.com/2014/06/08/burts-bees-lip-shimmer/

    2. They are quite sheer, but some of the darker colours will build up gradually to a deeper shade x

  2. This looks like a lovely set! I have one of their lip balms and I've tried a cleanser, facial scrub and face wipes which I reviewed on my blog. Would love to try the milk and honey body lotion though!

  5. I love Burt's Bees - Gorgeous stuff. If anyone is interested the Summer Kiss Grab Bag is still in stock on the Burt's Bees site. £25 for about £55 of stuff I think and a good mix of products! Their site is always worth a look as they regularly have offers.

Alternatively I think their range is on 3 for 2 at the moment in Boots :)
