Bourjois Blush Exclusif review

Bourjois make some of my favourite cream blushes. They're light, easy to blend and stay put on the skin for hours on end. Blush Exclusif is the next step in their cream blush range. Designed to adapt to the PH balance in your skin, it gives each person an individual shade that flatters their skin tone.

I have to admit, I have a bit of a thing for products that claim to have these magical adapting properties. Barry M's infamous TMLP green lipstick is one (although that does seem to go a very similar shade of pink on most people!), and so there was no way I could resist buying this blusher to test out.

Like the other cream blushers in their range, this one has the same light, creamy texture and is best applied using either your fingers, or a stippling brush. The shade is quite sheer, allowing it to be built up for the perfect flush.

It's a light pink colour in the pot, but adapts once applied, and on me, goes a little more candy pink, which looks pretty natural on my pale skin. Despite being a cream blusher, I find that it lasts really well and gives a good 8 hours wear before a touch up is needed.

I think that this is probably my second favourite of Bourjois' cream blushers - the 03 shade *just* pips it for me, but I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of this one too.

Blush Exclusif is £7.99 and can be found in Boots (currently buy one, get one half price) and Superdrug.

Will you be trying this colour adapting blush?

  2. This has looked the same on every person I've seen it swatched on, including myself! It's a lovely colour in itself but I'm not taken by the colour changing part really.

    1. I think the colour changing part is a bit novelty (which i am totally sucked in by, lol) x

  3. Hmmm I can't see this is a tone for everyone, particulary if it doesn't adapt to skintone BUT I love this kind of shade for myself so will be going to have a look in Boots asap ! xx

  4. Ooh this is pretty! I'll probably end up getting this just for the novelty colour-changing factor if we're honest.. It does look lovely, though!

  5. This shows up so well on you. When I swatched it there was no colour at all, I kept trying to build it up but nothing. :( xx

  6. I've always been a bit hesitant towards Bourjois blushes as they don't show up that well on darker skin (i've found) and I'm not that used to cream blush; however this looks promising - I also LOVE the green lipstick so I may have to take chance and try this out one of these days.

    Great review love!
