TMLP is a 'magic' lipstick. A terrifying green colour in the tube, it magically changes colour on lips to a pink shade that's individual to the wearer. It reacts with the PH levels in your lips to adapt, and supposedly give you a colour perfect for you.
I was a bit dubious, but at £4.49, it wasn't going to be an expensive mistake if it went wrong!
The lipstick is really smooth and applies easily, and as it hits lips, you can start to see it change colour. The formula is totally non-drying, which I was suprised by, and yet, the colour lasts for ages!
Once applied, the colour develops fully in about 30 seconds. Mine seems to go quite bright, which I love, and somehow matches perfectly to my skin tone.
It also stains the lips, so even after a few hours, you're left with a gorgeous soft pink lip that doesn't go away (seriously, it doesn't come off; I had to use makeup remover!).
I'm so glad I took the plunge and bought this. I can see myself using it a lot over the summer for a daytime pop of colour.
Have you tried any Barry M lipsticks? Would you give this green one a go?
Ooh this has come out a lovely shade on you! Might have to make a cheeky purchase.. x

We don't have Barry M but we have a similar lipstick in another brand that I don't even know the name of, but mine is half green and half blue. Love it, especially for dinners out.
ReplyDeleteOh I really want to try this now! It's such an interesting product

ReplyDeleteI bought a Barry M lippy once and totally hated it, it was so drying and applied patchy. But i've heard great things about this one, and it looks so fun and pretty :)

I've heard a lot of good things about this lipstick - I'll definitely be picking it up if I pass it in Boots/Superdrug - super curious to find out what colour mine would be.
