Once a year we all tend to sit down and make resolutions for
the coming twelve months. This year, I’ve tried to focus mine on things I’d
like to achieve, rather than on things I want to avoid. I’m aiming to make all
of mine positive things that I can look back on at the end of the year, and
know I made the most of my time.
2. Say ‘yes’ more often – the older I get, the less adventurous I seem to become. This year I want to start saying yes to more things, even if they seem a bit scary to start with.
3. Sing - I’ve sung in bands on and off for the past ten years and loved it, but since I started commuting to London for work, I’ve found it hard to fit this in and had to stop. I’m eager to dust off my microphone and find some way of making singing a regular thing again.
4. Keep the blog interesting – I started my blog at the end of 2012 and I’m amazed at how far it’s come in just over a year. The challenge for me in 2014 is to keep new ideas coming and keep things fresh and exciting!
What are your challenges/resolutions for 2014?
Good Luck in keeping them I have just filmed my new years resolutions and I am alreayd finding them hard to stick too!

Thank you - I hope you do well with yours too x
DeleteI love the idea of saying 'Yes' to more things. I find that I always have an excuse (mostly too tired!) not to go out or to do something. This seems like a really positive thing to do :) x
ReplyDeleteYes! :) x
DeleteLove your resolutions! I used to say 'no' quite a lot but I'm getting better!

No is far to easy to say ;) x
Deleteaying yes to more is a great resolution. It's great you're going to try to sing more, it's important to keep up your passions! Maybe record a few tracks on your computer, I think there's a few apps for it
